How can I request a repair for my tool?

You can contact us in three ways:

Each method starts with a brief intake where we gather details about your product and the issue you’re experiencing.

Do you repair all types of tools?

We repair a wide variety of tools in-house. However, if the tool requires service we don’t provide, we’ll coordinate with the original manufacturer for repairs and provide you with a quote from them.

Will I receive a quote before any repair work is done?

Yes. Whether the repair is done by Tool Mart or sent to the manufacturer, you’ll receive a quote. We will only proceed with repairs once you have approved the quoted price.

What happens if I decide not to go ahead with the repair?

If you choose not to proceed after receiving the quote, you can pick up your tool as-is. Please note that if disassembly was required to diagnose the issue, we do not reassemble the tool.

When do I pay for the repair?

Payment is due once the repair is completed. You can pay at pick-up using a credit card or, if you have an account with us, you can provide a purchase order (PO). We also offer return shipping if you prefer the item to be shipped back to you after repair.

Can I get a repair quote online or over the phone without bringing the tool in?

Unfortunately, we can’t provide accurate repair quotes without physically inspecting the tool. Many issues require internal diagnosis that can’t be done remotely.

Can I submit a repair inquiry online?

Currently, we recommend calling or emailing us with your repair request. However, we’re working on digitizing our intake process to make it even easier in the future.
